Japanese’s powerful and easy-to-use tools make it the ultimate study companion for beginners and fluent speakers alike, helping Japanese learners study the language they love, simply and effectively.

Japanese was designed by learners, for learners, and is tailored to the needs of students of the Japanese language. This philosophy is demonstrated in every aspect of the app, from its intuitive user interface to its detailed dictionary entries.

Since its launch in 2008, Japanese’s popularity and fanbase has grown dramatically, and the app is now widely-recognized as the study tool of choice for Japanese learners across the globe. It’s popularity with users has manifested in an average 4.5 star rating on Apple’s App Store, with ratings from over 250 users.

Japanese is packed full of features that are targeted towards users who want to learn Japanese on their mobile or tablet devices. The app integrates seamlessly with offline study materials and supports data transfers and imports from other language learning apps. Japanese operates offline, so users can learn Japanese on the go, wherever they go.
